Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until fully mixed.
3. Press the graham cracker mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to create an even crust.
4. Sprinkle the semisweet chocolate chips evenly over the crust.
5. Add the butterscotch chips evenly across the chocolate layer.
6. Spread the shredded coconut evenly over the top.
7. Sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts over the coconut layer.
8. Slowly drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly across all the layers.
9. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top becomes lightly golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
10. Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.
11. Refrigerate for cleaner slices if desired, then serve and enjoy.
Notes
Press the crust firmly into the pan to help the bars hold together properly after slicing.
Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting to prevent messy squares and falling-apart layers.
For extra flavor and crunch, lightly toast the nuts before adding them to the layers.
