Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic minced
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the chicken and sear for 5–7 minutes without moving until golden brown.
4. Flip the chicken and cook another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
5. Reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter to the same pan.
6. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
7. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
8. Add Italian seasoning and lemon juice, then simmer for 2–3 minutes.
9. Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Let it cook for another 2–3 minutes.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley, slice if desired, and serve with sauce.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor and aroma.
Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure proper searing.
Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
