Ingredients
20 jumbo pasta shells
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup fresh spinach chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Preheat oven to 375°F and spread marinara sauce in a baking dish.
4. Stuff each shell and arrange in the dish.
5. Top with remaining sauce and cheese.
6. Cover and bake 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 10–15 minutes.
7. Rest, garnish, and serve.
