Ingredients

4 cups cooked green beans

1 can (10.5 oz) Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup

2/3 cup whole milk

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 cup French’s crispy fried onions, divided

Salt to taste (optional)

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

2 strips cooked crumbled bacon (optional)

1/4 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.

3. Add the cooked green beans and half of the crispy fried onions. Mix gently to coat. Add optional cheese, bacon, or soy sauce if using.

4. Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch casserole dish and spread evenly.

5. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, until the edges are bubbling.

6. Remove from the oven and top with the remaining crispy fried onions.

7. Return to the oven and bake for 5–10 more minutes, until the topping is golden and crispy.

8. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To save time, you can prep the casserole in advance—just add the crispy onions before baking.

For added depth, try swapping milk with half-and-half or adding a splash of soy sauce.

Use fresh green beans for a firmer texture, or canned/frozen for convenience (just drain well).
