Copyright & DMCA

CookMingle respects the work of other recipe developers and photographers and expects the same for its own work. This page explains how credit is given and how to ask for a correction or removal.

How CookMingle credits other creators

Round-up posts that feature recipes from other websites name the creator, link to the original page and use only a single preview image, never the full instructions. If you are a creator and your work appears on the site, that link is meant to send readers to you. If anything about the credit is wrong, or you would prefer not to be featured, it will be corrected or removed promptly.

CookMingle’s own content

The original text, photographs and recipe cards on cookmingle.com are protected by copyright. You may share a link, pin an image to Pinterest with a link back to the post, and make the recipes for yourself and as gifts. You may not republish the text, recipe cards or photographs on another website, in print or in a product without written permission.

Reporting a copyright problem

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:

  • Your name, postal address, email address and, if applicable, the company you represent.
  • A description of the copyrighted work and a link to where it was originally published.
  • The URL of the page on cookmingle.com where the material appears.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Valid notices are acted on within a few working days and you will receive a reply confirming what was done. CookMingle may forward the notice to the person who posted the material.

Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing your contact details, the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location and your signature.
